Our country has taken a battering over the last few weeks and from those who should be representing us and guarding our freedoms. Today is a good day to remember that we have to include our country's freedom in our prayer petitions to God every day . . . before we lose it.
While the storm clouds gather far across the sea,
Let us swear allegiance to
a land that's free,
Let us all be grateful for a land so fair,
As we raise
our voices in a solemn prayer.
God bless America,
Land that I
love.
Stand beside her, and guide her
Through the night with a light from
above.
From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans, white with
foam
God bless America, My home sweet home!
God, help America,
To
be her best,
To reap justice and compassion,
And to stride strongly
through every test!
From the Great Lakes to the bayous
To the canyons to
snowy Nome,
God, bless America, My home, sweet home!
