Pray for the United States!

Dear Friends in Christ,

The United States of America faces the most serious decision in our nation's history on November 6. We are asking all to join in 3 days of prayer, fasting, and adoration November 3, 4 and 5 to implore God's mercy upon our Country in this most important election.

The inspiration for these 3 days of fasting and prayer is found in the book of Esther. Queen Esther, when informed of the possible annihilation of her people, called for a three-day fast prior to her interceding with the king on behalf of her people.

Mary had been likened to Esther as she continually intercedes with the King of kings on our behalf. The nation has been entrusted to her under the title of Immaculate Conception. Let us ask her to pray with us and for us that we, as people, will choose life.

"Who knows but that is was for a time like this that you obtained the royal dignity?" Esther 4:14

Please copy and spread this invitation to fasting, prayer, and adoration on November 3, 4 and 5 as widely as possible.

Remember, if you work or for some other reason cannot fast from standard meals, there are TONS of other things you can fast from -- television, Facebook, soft drinks, desserts, etc. -- also (and even better), gossiping, complaining, being unmerciful, behaving uncharitably toward others, etc. -- or do a combo! The point is for us to come together as a people to turn our hearts and minds to God in a special and serious way these three days. (-:

Using the Children of our Future!

This is just the latest in the nasty campaign being orchestrated by the current administration. Anyone who has done any research would find that the song is very much untrue. In fact, if the 'children of our future' could realize it, the stimulus package already put them and the yet to be born into debt before they even come of working age.

The song is actually pretty funny because, in many ways, it sounds more like an anti-obama ad. How sad, however, that one party would stoop to such lows to try and diminish another's campaign with falsehoods.

The picture of a wrecked country and fighting on foreign soil is amusing because, over the last four years, our country has involved itself in the Middle East when we don't really belong there. And, when push comes to shove, events such as Benghazi, are covered up and the American people have to fight to find the truth.

This ad is a very sad commentary from people grasping at straws. I'd be ashamed to be a part of it.
