My husband's hard work is starting to pay off as we harvest the first of the summer produce. Homegrown tomatoes really spoil us because they are such a contrast to the ones sold in the store. It is like an Easter Egg hunt trying to find green beans midst all the vines and foliage. Just when you think you've picked all that there is, more seem to suddenly appear. We are not, however, complaining because a dollar not spent at the grocery store is one we can save. In this economy, every penny counts.A place to share ideas on making a comfortable home. I do it through quilting, being faithful to my Faith, and caring for my family. Being a Catholic, sewing, and baking cookies are a few of my favorite things. I'm open to discussion!
