The Source of Chick's Night Terrors . . .
Remember my posting about our dog, Chick, keeping us up because she and some fearsome cat was on her private property? The way Chick seemed to feel, this was one, HUGE cat that threatened our very safety. Well, said cat came around our front door the other morning, screaming and meowing for something to eat. The poor thing is about eight to ten weeks old and not ready to be friendly if we hang around the charity food bowl we put out for her.
The kitten certainly has mixed heritage . . . She has a striped tale, Siamese cat ears and coloring, fluffy Persian-type fur with the lighter cream/grey of a Siamese. I'm willing to bet the striped tale came from the cat's father and that her mother wasn't supposed to be playing outside! Oh, and Chick, the dog, is not happy about this cat residing on HER front porch.
