This is a view from our backyard. We have a lot of these trees in our neighborhood. I think they are called Acacia trees. Every Spring, they bloom with these beautiful purple flowers. As the flowers reach maturity, they fall and form a wonderful carpet of petals around the base of the tree. Some years, they are more spectacular than others. This was a good year!
