A place to share ideas on making a comfortable home. I do it through quilting, being faithful to my Faith, and caring for my family. Being a Catholic, sewing, and baking cookies are a few of my favorite things. I'm open to discussion!

Salzburg, Austria
One of my favorite cities in the world is Salzburg, Austria. Sadly, we only had time to spend one afternoon there but we did our best to enjoy it to the fullest. Naturally, it rained while we were there but it didn't dampen our spirits as we enjoyed a stroll through the town, indulged in both a typical meal, purchased a good assortment of local pastries, and even had time to check out the museum. It is one of those places where you'd like to spend an unhurried week . . and still, probably, want to come back again and again!
The 'silver Mozart' character was actually a person in costume. He was very amiable about posing and, even up close, his costume was perfect. Everyone who passed by got a postcard and treat.
