Working on a quilt when I'm in the car (husband driving, of course!) isn't feasible. In order to keep my hands busy on long trip, I always have some sort of crocheting along with me. It has also come in handy while waiting for my college son to get out of class. My latest project is an afghan. I'm trying a new pattern which is finally getting easier to do. I actually started it three times before I got the hang of it. Sometimes, patterns take a lot of stitch counting and then recounting to make sure you are keeping on track.A place to share ideas on making a comfortable home. I do it through quilting, being faithful to my Faith, and caring for my family. Being a Catholic, sewing, and baking cookies are a few of my favorite things. I'm open to discussion!
