My husband said that his life was so boring before he married me. He never knows what he will wake up to anymore. This morning, I went out to sweep the porch and such before we got ready to head out to Sunday Mass. I bent down to pick up something and a tiny black kitten with white paws skittered out from under a bush. I picked him up and took him the house to show my son. We set him down on the kitchen floor while I finished my outside chores . . . and an orange striped kitten wobbled out from under the same foliage. I took him in and my son said he would watch them until we could figure out a box or something for them He said to hurry because they kept heading in opposite directions. I went outside to bring in the broom and there was a third kitten, the grey one, huddled by the garden hose box. He hissed at me with much dramatics but I picked him up anyway and he joined his siblings.
We now have an e-mail out for anyone who might be interested in a sweet kitten of their own! We also had to run over to Walmart for kitten formula and feeding bottles. Fortunately, they aren't in the constant feeding stage of growth so we don't foresee having to get up several times a night.
