It was almost brisk, today, as far as California standards are about Winter. That made me thing of making chicken soup and what would chicken soup be without noodles. I have found, however, that the best chicken soup with the properly, slightly thickened broth comes from simmering homemade noodles directly in the soup. It is amazing how many people you can feed with one chicken, a handful or so of flour, and a couple of eggs.A place to share ideas on making a comfortable home. I do it through quilting, being faithful to my Faith, and caring for my family. Being a Catholic, sewing, and baking cookies are a few of my favorite things. I'm open to discussion!
