I had a great afternoon doing a favorite occupation - baking and decorating a cake. It is a friend's 18th birthday next week but she is celebrating this weekend while her entire family is home. I decided to go with a fun cake full of things to nibble on in addition to the cake. Sugar cones made great pine trees once I covered them with green icing. The curly things are straws to enjoy whateve birthday drinks they might be having with the cake.
